Video: Conservation in Historic Places of Worship - Tales from Westminster Abbey
HONG KONG, October 14, 2016 — Westminster Abbey is one of the most notable religious buildings in the United Kingdom. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, it is still a living church while at the same time functions as both a museum and an art gallery. In this illustrated presentation, conservator Marie Louise Sauerberg took the audience a "whistle-stop tour" of the conservation efforts at the abbey. (1 hr., 6 min.)
