Global Talent Programming
Since 2009, Asia Society has hosted the Global Talent Symposium, an annual forum of corporate leaders to exchange innovative ideas and best practices around leveraging diverse talent, with a focus on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) employees.
Originally a one-day conference, Global Talent has evolved into a year-long program starting in 2024. Launching with the awards ceremony and Symposium on May 15, the Global Talent Speaker Series offers four additional programs throughout the year featuring AAPI leaders, as well as strategic solutions to the specific challenges companies face in unlocking the full potential of Asian workers and professionals. These online and in-person events, accessible to Asia Society's vast audience, aim to provide continuous learning and inspiration for employees, networks, and individuals seeking leadership coaching and training on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
The May 15 Symposium will offer a compelling morning session with leaders discussing the evolving corporate landscape around DEI, followed by Drivers for Diversity, an awards ceremony honoring accomplishments in the space among individuals, companies, and communities. This, along with the year-long programs, is Asia Society’s commitment to making the business case for global talent. To learn more about this year’s Symposium, click here.
