Marc Hijink
Marc Hijink (b. 1969) has over twenty years of experience writing for the Dutch daily NRC, where he is a financial reporter and columnist. He writes about the semiconductor industry and geopolitics, as well as big tech, AI and algorithms. He is focused on translating complex concepts into compelling stories for a broad audience.
Pierre Haski
Pierre Haski has worked as a journalist for over four decades, first at Agence France-Presse and later at the French daily « Libération ». He was a foreign correspondent posted in Johannesburg, Jerusalem and finally Beijing (2000-2005). In 2007 he co-founded the website Rue89.com, France’s first 100% web-based media, and was its CEO until 2016. He is currently international affairs columnist for the news magazine L’Obs and for France Inter, the country’s public broadcaster and France’s number one radio. In 2017, he became President of Reporters sans frontières (RSF), a Paris-based international NGO defending press
freedom. He is the author of several books, including on China, as well as documentaries for the french-german cultural TV-channel Arte.
Pengfei Chen
Pengfei Chen is a management consultant focused on large enterprise IT implementations. Specifically one of his major focuses is smooth AI design features and seamless data integrations within enterprise workflows. Previous clients have included Salesforce, Target Corp, Walmart, and Deloitte.
Duncan Clark
Duncan is a seasoned founder, investor, and advisor with over thirty years of experience in Asia, having begun his career as a technology investment banker at Morgan Stanley. He founded and chairs BDA China, a leading technology investment advisory firm, and has expanded its presence across Asia, including a new base in Tokyo. Duncan is a key figure in analyzing the impact of geopolitical shifts on technology and global innovation, and he has advised major investors and governments on this front. He is also an early advisor to notable China Internet entrepreneurs, the author of the acclaimed book ‘Alibaba: The House That Jack Ma Built,’ and a senior advisor to various tech ventures. Duncan is actively involved in fostering dialogue between Asia and the world through roles with the Asia Society, and serves on several advisory boards, including OIST in Japan and WildAid in San Francisco. A graduate of the London School of Economics, Duncan supports Asian students through the Duncan and David Clark Scholarship fund and has previously been a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University.
