Students Connect With the International Space Station

A Vaughn student chats with astronauts on the International Space Station (Vaughn Next Century Learning Center)

NEW YORK, May 31, 2018 – Students at the Vaughn Next Century Learning Center, a member of the Center for Global Education's International Studies Schools Network, recently had the opportunity to interview two astronauts at the International Space Station.

Students from all of Vaughn's P–12 classes asked astronauts and former teachers Ricky Arnold and Scott Tingle questions on all sorts of topics, and a few even asked about cultural competence and global understanding!
