A Task Force on U.S.-China Policy Discussion
In the wake of the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), many China policy experts have been busy assessing Xi Jinping’s China and what it means for U.S.-China relations. The Starr Forum at MIT on November 17, 2022, brought together five China scholars, all members of the Task Force on U.S.-China Policy, to discuss Xi Jinping’s third term and the challenges it may pose for the United States.

Jessica Chen Weiss is the Michael J Zak Professor for China and Asia-Pacific Studies at Cornell University.
