Flournoy: US-India Relationship is Mature

In advance of an upcoming trip to India, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Michèle Flournoy, spoke on India-U.S. relations at an Asia Society program at the Army/Navy Club in Washington, DC., July 1, 2010. Citing "common democratic values and converging interests that make India and U.S. natural partners," Flournoy expressed support for sales of high tech arms to India by U.S. companies as well as that nation's "positive role" in Afghanistan's development.
