VIEW EVENT DETAILSAsia Society Australia is pleased to invite you to an exclusive private dinner with renowned cook, writer and broadcaster, Mr Adam Liaw. Adam will take guests on a gastronomic journey with a modern Asian menu specially curated by him.
At this intimate dinner Adam will reflect on the role of cultural diplomacy in our relations with Asia and the significant contributions of our diaspora communities to Australia's social cohesion and democratic resilience.
Following remarks from Adam, guests will be invited to engage in conversation and share their own perspectives.

About our Speaker
Mr Adam Liaw is a cook, broadcaster and non-executive director. He has hosted and reported for a range of documentary, food and entertainment TV programs including Destination Flavour, Tomorrow Tonight, Dateline and The Cook Up with Adam Liaw. He holds Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Adelaide.
A former lawyer, Adam spent 7 years based in Tokyo with The Walt Disney Company as the Head of Legal and Business Affairs (Asia Pacific) for Disney Interactive and he has since established a career as one of Australia’s most in-demand writers and broadcasters.
Adam also currently holds positions with the boards of the Museum of Chinese in Australia, the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, TAFE NSW, i8 Studio and currently chairs the the Australia-Japan Foundation.
