Gen A | The Crucial COP: Climate Change, Youth and our Region
VIEW EVENT DETAILS
COP26 will be the most significant global climate event since the 2015 Paris Agreement. The clock is ticking on the world’s window to take impactful climate action, with 2021 a ‘make or break’ year in the fight to reduce the effects of global warming. With the youth of today being the last generation that can end the climate crisis, we bring together a panel of climate-active young change makers and analysts for a pulse-check on the state of climate change across the region. Join us as our panellists spotlight innovative youth-led solutions to the crisis, share their analysis of the state of climate action in their respective countries, and outline their hopes ahead of this crucial COP in November.
Date: Wednesday 27 October 2021
Time: 6 – 7 p.m. AEDT
