GEN A Masterclass | Iwan Sunito

Big success doesn't mean doing big things. It means doing little things in a big way

SYDNEY, Asia Society Australia proudly hosted Iwan Sunito, Co-founder and CEO of Crown Group, for its second Sydney GEN A Masterclass event.

Mr Sunito provided GEN A participants with an inspiring account of the many successes, and some of the failures and lessons, he has experienced throughout his career. For Mr Sunito, while it is important to dream big, it is also vital to perform the small things you do in a large way. Mr Suito took GEN A through his personal journey from humble beginnings in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia to property magnate with offices in Sydney, Singapore and Indonesia and $4.8 billion of projects and construction in the pipeline.

Q&A focused on Iwan's personal leadership style, how to keep up drive and motivation in the face of failure as well as the outlook for the Sydney property market.

The GEN A network brings together young professionals (under 35) from across the Asia Society Australia membership. It aims to give our young leaders access to leading business, policy, trade, diversity and cultural thinkers on Asia, through a series of masterclasses that draw on their industry and personal experience working with and in Asia. GEN A participants have the opportunity to attend regular Asia Society events over the course of one year. More >>
