Tiato Courtyard

Can anyone attend?
The AWE launch event on October 12, 2021 is invitation-only.

Where will the event take place?
Tiato
, part of the House of AN portfolio of restaurants, will serve as the venue for the AWE launch event on October 12, 2021. The evening's program will take place within the restaurant, with a reception to follow in the outdoor courtyard. Tiato is located at 2700 Colorado Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90404.

Is parking complimentary?
Yes, parking is complimentary. Guests can park in the underground garage attached to the restaurant.

When should I arrive to the event?
Please arrive between 4:30 - 4:45 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m.

What is the event's dress code?
The dress code for the evening is cocktail attire.

Should I bring a jacket?
The temperatures in Santa Monica have been averaging in the low 60s in the evenings. We suggest bringing a jacket, but there will be heat lamps and firepits outdoors as well as a free flow between Tiato's indoor and outdoor sections during the reception.

Are men invited to the event?
Yes, men are welcomed as guests to the event.

Will dinner be served at the event?
Passed hors d'oeuvres will be served, but there will not be a sit-down dinner at the event. 

What safety protocols will be in place at the event?
Asia Society Southern California (ASSC) and Tiato are committed to maintaining a healthy atmosphere for all attendees of the AWE launch, and as such have implemented the following safety protocols:

  • Capacity for the evening is limited to 100 guests.
  • Proof of vaccination is required for entry. ASSC will pre-screen guests.
  • Masks are required while indoors, except while eating or drinking.
  • Socially distanced seating will be provided.

I'm fully vaccinated. Do I need to wear a mask?
Guests are required to wear a mask while indoors within the restaurant. Guests are free to remove their mask while in the outdoor courtyard or eating or drinking.
