Florence Low Sloan
Florence Low Sloan is a producer and philanthropist in Los Angeles. Florence serves as co-creator and partner at Golden Karavan Productions. In 2017, Golden Karavan produced Delhi Crime, which sold to Netflix in 2018 prior to its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival. Netflix aired “Delhi Crime” globally and the production won the International Emmy for Best Drama in 2020. “Delhi Crime” was also a big winner at the Asian Academy Awards 2020. She is now in production for S2 and S3 of Delhi Crime as well as other productions under her company, Tigerjade Entertainment.
In 2011, Florence produced and made the movie, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, a historical drama based on a novel by Lisa See.
A philanthropist at heart, Florence has sat on the board of The Los Angeles County Museum of Arts since 2007. She is also on the Los Angeles board of Facing History and Ourselves, a non-profit organization that develops educational material on prejudices and injustice in American and European society. In addition, Florence is on the Board of Trustees of the UCLA Foundation which manages the University’s multi-billion-dollar endowment.
Florence was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She was educated in England and attended City University in London where she obtained a BA (HONS) Law Degree. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2002, Florence lived in London withher two sons where she worked as a children’s book writer. Florence is married to Harry Evans Sloan, Chairman and CEO of Eagle Equity Partners. They live in Los Angeles and have four children.
