As part of AWE’s inaugural Great Company Feature, special thanks to George-Axelle Broussillon Matschinga, Head of DEI at Sephora, who shared more about Sephora's commitments and efforts to increasing representation - especially for women of color - across all aspects of their business and creating a more inclusive workplace.
A huge thank you and congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Julia S. Gouw Short Film Challenge, presented by CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment)and Janet Yang Productions, for joining us and giving an overview of your short films. This inspiring program for Asian American and Pacific Islander women and non-binary filmmakers showcased its inaugural films and winners at our first AWE Luncheon in 2022, and we are happy to continue to spotlight these artists and their accomplishments.
It was also great to hear from Vineesha Arora-Sarin, CEO & Executive Director at WISE (Women in Showbiz Everywhere). Learn more about their upcoming programs here.
AWE is proud to bring together a community of Asian women and allies to celebrate leaders, creatives, and organizations that have been influential across entertainment, media, and tech.
