Saathi Wins the 2019 St Andrews Prize for the Environment

Saathi, which manufactures eco-friendly hygiene products in India, wins the 2019 St Andrews Prize for the Environment for its work on developing 100% biodegradable and compostable sanitary pads using banana tree fibers. Co-Founder and Asia 21 Young Leader Kristin Kagetsu ('15) received the prize at the University of St. Andrews today.
