Tania HYDE

Tania Hyde, Class of 2013

Director
Jata Advisory

Tania Hyde is a strategist, connector, consultant and mother of two. She is passionate about connecting people and bringing strategy to life and has 20 years of experience in consulting and operations. Hyde began her career as an electrical engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force after graduating from the Australian Defence Force Academy. In this role, she was responsible for avionics logistics, projects, and maintenance operations for the C-130 Hercules aircraft. She also held senior public affairs roles in support of Air Command’s operations, which included a deployment to Timor-Leste as the public affairs officer for Australia’s peacekeeping contribution to the U.N.’s mission. Hyde subsequently moved into business as a consultant at the Nous Group, an Australian company headed by former McKinsey consultants. Before starting her own business, she was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Taylor Street Advisory, a boutique advisory firm that focuses on transport infrastructure, cities, and stakeholder communications. She helped grow this firm over a number of years. Hyde is also an advisory board member for Refugee Talent, a startup that connects refugees to employment through technology.
