Dr. Stephen Riady is the Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of OUE Limited, a leading pan-Asian real estate development, investment, and management company based in Singapore. He is Chairman and Executive Director of Hong Kong-listed Lippo Limited, Lippo China Resources Limited, and Hongkong Chinese Limited, among others.

In 2010, Dr. Riady established the Stephen Riady Foundation to create opportunities for youth to make a difference to the livelihoods of their communities through engagement, education, and empowerment. Since it was established, the Foundation has supported the Singapore President’s Star Charity, National University of Singapore, Focus on the Family, and the Papua Hope Education Foundation in Indonesia, among others.

Dr. Riady serves as Global Trustee of Asia Society, Honorary Patron of the Securities Investors Association of Singapore, and Executive Vice President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs. He is also a member of the Committee to Promote Economic Co-operation between Fujian and Hong Kong and is an Honorary Citizen of Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China.

He is a recipient of the Ernst & Young (EY) ASEAN Entrepreneurial Excellence Award (2018) and the EY Strategic Investment Entrepreneur of the Year (2007). He was conferred the Chevalier de L’Ordre des Arts des Lettres (Order of France) by the French Government, and has been honored with the Asia Society Southern California International Business Visionary Award and the ASEAN Entrepreneur of the Year Lifetime Award.

Dr. Riady is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds an MBA from Golden Gate University. He was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University and is one of the first Honorary Fellows installed by the Hong Kong Baptist University.
