All in attendance agreed, the 2017 Asia Arts Awards Hong Kong was “an exquisite success” and “not to be missed.” The event brought together major art collectors, artists, gallerists, and dignitaries from around the world to celebrate four gamechangers in the arts. This year’s Awards honored the creative accomplishments of artists Hon Chi Fun, Kimsooja, Rashid Rana, and Hiroshi Sugimoto. A spirited auction capped off the evening. All proceeds from the 2017 Asia Arts Awards Hong Kong will support Asia Society Arts and Culture initiatives worldwide. Asia Society’s Asia Arts Awards Hong Kong was co-organized by Asia Society Museum, New York, and Asia Society Hong Kong Center.
