Asia Society Gallery (Former Magazine A)

Gallery will be closed in preparation for the upcoming exhibition Light before Dawn: Unofficial Chinese Art 1974-1985 from 1 Apr to 14 May 2013, and re-opened on 15 May 2013.

Arrangements for Adverse Weather

When Typhoon Signal Pre-No.8/No. 8 or above is hoisted at or after 7 am, Asia Society Hong Kong Center will be closed for the entire day.

When Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued at or after 7 am and canceled before 12 noon, Asia Society Hong Kong Center will be closed until noon. If the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is canceled after 12 noon, the Center will be re-opened within two hours after the warning is canceled.

In case when Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued during opening hours, the Center and the Gallery will remain opened until 5 pm (or until 8 pm on the last Thursday of each month when there is an exhibition at the gallery)

Tips for all Visitors

• Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Center including outdoor areas.
• Visitors should not enter any part of the Center that is closed to the public.
• Visitors should not deface or damage any wall, door, furniture, fitting or exhibit.
• Security procedures will be in place for anyone entering the Center with dangerous goods, including flammable substances, corrosive substances, noxious items and gas cylinders.
• Animals are not allowed in the Center.
• Visitors should turn off their pagers or mobile phones when they enter the Gallery and Theater.
• No eating or drinking is allowed inside the Gallery and the Theater.
• Photography is not allowed inside the Gallery except authorized parties.
• Elevators are available for convenient access to different levels of the Center. Visitors with disabilities and senior citizens can use the elevator to access different levels of the Center.
• No parking is allowed in the Center.
