NBC's George Oliphant at AsiaStore in New York in November 2012.

AsiaStore at New York's Asia Society and Museum was thrilled to play host to TV personality George Oliphant for an NBC shopping segment (embedded below) in which the store was highlighted as “one of the best places to shop on the Upper East Side.” NBC’s George to the Rescue found that “AsiaStore is proof that shopping can also be a creative experience.”

Strolling through textiles, accessories and jewelry by renowned designers and emerging artisans, George said visitors are “drawn in by AsiaStore’s wide selection of books on Asian art and culture” and should not miss AsiaStore’s unique home accents. Watch the clip of Oliphant's visit — now being shown on NBC and in local taxis — to what he called “one of the best museum stores in New York.”
