Case Study: Asia Society Hong Kong Center

HONG KONG, October 26, 2012 — A group of 60 architecture students from Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) visited Asia Society Hong Kong Center as a field trip and attended an architecture lecture. Dr. Lee Ho Yin, Director of University of Hong Kong's Architectural Conservation Programme, led a site tour and used our Center as a case study.

Architectural Design (PID)/Lecturer Sylvia Fung said, "Asia Society Hong Kong Center has provided a wonderful learning opportunity for our architecture students at Hong Kong Design Institute. They have experienced first-hand the rich fabric of the local vernacular architecture in Hong Kong and the careful planning/design considerations from a successful conservation program. We are truly grateful for the informative guided tours arranged by the Asia Society and the lecture-hall arrangement for the benefit of our students."
