Asia Society Texas Center offers elegant, versatile spaces and a warm, intimate atmosphere, making it one of Houston’s premier event facilities. Choose the perfect setting for your event from a selection of indoor and outdoor spaces. Convenient and secure parking is available in the Texas Center's parking lot directly across Southmore Boulevard from the building.

The facility’s first floor offers rental opportunities that include the state-of-the-art Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater, spacious Fayez Sarofim Grand Hall, and beautifully manicured lawn.

The second floor features the Edward Rudge Allen III Education Center, Louisa Stude Sarofim Gallery, and the Water Garden Terrace that overlooks a stunning infinity water garden.

The Fayez Sarofim Grand Hall provides a 3,874-square-foot open, contemporary space for receptions, public announcements, society events, birthday parties, corporate events and more.

 

The Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater seats 273 in a beautifully appointed space featuring cherry-wood-paneled walls, Appalachian white oak floors and sumptuous seats. The stage is suitable for dance as well as musical performance, film, plays, lectures and symposia. The Brown Foundation Theater is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment and stage lighting, and comes with separate dressing rooms for men and women and a Green Room. A secure VIP entrance is available upon request for special guests.

 

Asia Society Texas Center’s Festival Lawn, surrounded by oak trees, fronts on Southmore Boulevard at Caroline Street and can accommodate a 3,000-square-foot tent for temporary events. A great space for outdoor activities, receptions, banquets and social gatherings.

 

The Allen Education Center is a 3,000-square-foot space that can be divided into as many as three smaller rooms through a system of movable walls, making it extremely flexible. It is ideal for product or service launches, corporate lunches, evening banquets, holiday parties, not-for-profit events, staff appreciation parties, team-building programs, conferences and seminars, breakfast meetings, and classes. Each of the three meeting rooms contains state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.

 

The Allen Education Center looks out onto the Chao Foundation Green Garden. Surrounded by Asia jasmine and paved with Zimbabwe black granite, the Green Garden is a charming place to host garden parties, social events and ceremonies.

 

From the Water Garden Terrace visitors look out over the Elkins Foundation Water Garden at the skyline of downtown Houston. It’s the ideal venue for receptions, cocktail parties, dinners, and business or social events where an intimate atmosphere is important. The Louisa Stude Sarofim Gallery, located next to the Water Garden Terrace, is home to important exhibitions of contemporary and traditional Asian and Asian American art. Special tours of the Sarofim Gallery may be arranged for guests.
