LOS ANGELES, CA, June 21, 2010 - Asia Society Trustee Emeritus Thomas McLain and his wife Celeste Pinto McLain hosted a reception at their home in honor of Asia Society Southern California's 25th Anniversary. It was an intimate gathering of honorees, founders, and ASSC Advisory Board members. 

The guests were greeted with succulent Asian appetizers and refreshing cocktails and were escorted to the sunny patio to mingle with other guests. McLain gave a heartfelt speech welcoming old and new friends to his home and set the stage for the Center's Gala Dinner the following evening. Chairman James Zukin spoke about the Center's expanded Pan-Asian mission and welcomed its new cadre of "Visionaries."
