Chinese Direct Investment in California
VIEW EVENT DETAILS
Asia Society will release a new report that assesses the patterns and impacts of Chinese direct investment in California and provides policy and business leaders in the state with recommendations on how to attract further investment and maximize its benefits. This new report builds on a 2011 Asia Society study, An American Open Door? Maximizing the Benefits of Chinese Direct Investment, which looked at investment flows from China into the U.S. more broadly.
This half-day conference reports on the finding of the Asia Society study and brings together leading experts in China policy and FDI to help move California forward in this important economic development area. The report will be released in San Francisco on October 10.
