Business the Focus of Obama India Visit

NOVEMBER 4, 2010 - Asia Society Associate Fellow Mira Kamdar comments on the lead-up to US President Barack Obama's first visit to India. With the president coming off of a bruising midterm election and hobbled by a seemingly intractable economy, Kamdar notes that securing business deals between the two countries is the top agenda item on his India trip.
