APEC 2015: Connecting, Collaborating, Community
VIEW EVENT DETAILSThe Philippines is hosting and chairing APEC this year, and has chosen to focus on the promotion and advancement of inclusive growth in the Asia-Pacific region, with the theme “Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World”.
In this regard, Asia Society is hosting the interactive dialogue APEC 2015: Connecting, Collaborating, Community that aims to provide a general understanding and appreciation of APEC, by presenting APEC in a relevant and pragmatic way.
The dialogue will begin with an overview of APEC 2015 by representatives from the public and private sector. The second part of the program will tackle the four priorities of APEC 2015: Investing in Human Capital Development, Fostering Small and Medium Enterprises’ Participation in Regional and Global Markets, Building Sustainable and Resilient Communities, and Enhancing the Regional Economic Integration Agenda.
