On March 7, 2017, leaders from four eminent public affairs and non-profit organizations in San Francisco came together to discuss the future of U.S.-Asia relations under President Trump. The conversation looked at the expected impact of the administration's Asia policy on the West Coast, and pontificated on California's potential leadership role vis-à-vis a more productive relationship with Asia.

Ms. Mina Kim, PM Anchor and Forum Friday Host for KQED, moderated the discussion with Mr. David D. Arnold, President of The Asia Foundation; Dr. Gloria C. Duffy, President and CEO of The Commonwealth Club of California; Dr. N. Bruce Pickering, Vice President of Global Programs, Asia Society and Executive Director, Asia Society Northern California; and Ms. Jane Wales, CEO of World Affairs and Global Philanthropy Forum & Vice President, The Aspen Institute.

This event was organized by Asia Society Northern California, Commonwealth Club of California, The Asia Foundation, and World Affairs.
