2013 Annual Burma Human Rights Day Benefit

(eGuide Travel/Flickr)

Join us for our annual Human Rights Day benefit to support the Burmese American Democratic Alliance (BADA). This year we are pleased to feature the Northern California premiere screening of Into the Current, a documentary film about Burma's political prisoners. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the film's director, Jeanne Hallacy; special guest, former prisoner and internationally known human rights defender Bo Kyi; and a panel of experts on Burma's current situation.

Featured speakers will include human rights activist Bo Kyi; Min Zin, journalist and UC Berkeley lecturer; and Dr. Sein Win, Prime Minister of Government in Exile, NCGUB.

All donations will support the Burmese American Democratic Alliance (BADA) and our efforts to advocate for human rights in Burma.
