Join us for a breakfast briefing with Manish Chandra, the Indian-born, Bay Area-based entrepreneur whose most recent venture, Poshmark, allows users to shop one another’s closets using their mobile devices. Mr. Chandra will discuss his life as a successful innovator and entrepreneur and will consider how the Indian diaspora has shaped his own business ventures, as well as the powerful mark the South Asian community continues to make in Silicon Valley. Chandra will be in conversation with Kausik Rajgopal, a partner at McKinsey & Co. An audience Q&A session will follow their discussion.

About the Speaker: Manish Chandra is the founder and CEO of Poshmark, the leading mobile marketplace for fashion, which makes it simple and fun for anyone to shop the most fashionable closets across the country and sell directly from their own. Chandra has always been passionate about building communities and founded the first social shopping company, Kaboodle, which was acquired by Hearst Corporation in 2007. He received a BTech from IIT Kanpur, an M.S. from the University of Texas, Austin, and an MBA from Haas School of Business.
Kausik Rajgopal is a Director at McKinsey, and leads McKinsey’s San Francisco office. Since joining McKinsey in 1997, Kausik has worked primarily in the financial services and payments industries. Kausik received his Bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Political Science with Distinction from Stanford University. He received his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
