Video: 2016's Asia Game Changers on the Origins of Their Life-Changing Work
Last Wednesday, several of this year's Asia Game Changers awardees discussed the origins of their groundbreaking ideas and the actions they took to make them reality during a special preview luncheon.
Speakers included Soo-Man Lee, founder, S.M. Entertainment and "K-Pop" pioneer, Marita Cheng, co-founder of Robogals, Ahmad Sarmast, music advisor and project director of the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, Durreen Shahnaz, founder and chairman of the Impact Investment Exchange, Sanduk Ruit, an eye surgeon and co-founder of the Himalayan Cataract Project, Muzoon Almellehan, a Syrian refugee and champion for girls' education, and Karim Wasfi, conductor of the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra. The discussion was moderated by Asia Society President and CEO Josette Sheeran.
