This concert is part of the New York Sufi Music Festival, spearheaded by Ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, and organized by Pakistani Peace Builders, a new initiative of New Yorkers, Pakistani-Americans, and Pakistanis. The aim of the Peace Builders is to celebrate the common bonds and shared values of peace and compassion that the vast majority of Pakistanis have traditionally affirmed, and continue to affirm today.
The Asia Society is committed to presenting the diversity of Islam, and this program is proud to be part of our ongoing Creative Voices of Islam in Asia initiative.
Free concert; Asia Society members only (up to 2 tickets per member)
RSVP required to Asia Society Box Office at 212-517-2742 (Mon - Fri, 1:00 - 5:00 pm).
Please note that as space is limited, RSVPs will be taken on a first-come, first-served. Tickets will be available at the front desk prior to concert. Tickets not picked up by 7:20 pm the night of the concert will be forfeited.
