Samuel C. Morse, Professor of the History of Art and Asian Languages and Civilizations at Amherst College, explores the Japanese elements of the Asia Society's current exhibition, "Asian Journeys: Collecting Art in Post-war America." This is the second of a three part lecture series honoring art historian Sherman E. Lee, former Director of the Cleveland Museum of Art and advisor to John D. Rockefeller 3rd. The final lecture in this series will take place on Thursday, May 21 at 6:30 pm. This is the rescheduled lecture by Vishakha N. Desai - Collectors and Curators: A Unique Partnership between Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd and Sherman E. Lee.
