Mayor of Zhenjiang Visits New York

Zhenjiang, China.

Zhenjiang is an up-and-coming Chinese city situated in the Yangtze River Delta Economical Zone. It has a population of approximately 3 million people and serves as an important transportation hub due to its prime location near the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Grand Canal.

On December 1st, the Asia Society is delighted to host a delegation from Zhenjiang to inform investors, developers, and architects on the growth, development, and future opportunities that Zhenjiang offers. The program will begin with a keynote speech given by Liu Handong, the Mayor of Zhenjiang, followed by two panels comprised of representatives from Zhenjiang and sector-related experts. The first panel discussion will showcase the planning and building of new public facilities in Zhenjiang and other Chinese cities. And, the second panel discussion will focus on infrastructure investments and green building in China's emerging cities.

Please join us for this great opportunity to gain an insider perspective on one of China's most promising growing cities.
