Ian Bremmer: Superpower and America's Role in the World
VIEW EVENT DETAILSLuncheon and Discussion
In recent decades, Asia’s countries and subregions have gained considerable economic and strategic influence over global affairs — so much so that the regional order in Asia, and the wider global order, are being profoundly reconfigured. These changes have prompted serious questions about the role that the United States plays in the world, and the roles it could have in the future.
With these questions in mind, the Asia Society Policy Institute is delighted to welcome bestselling author, global policy expert, and President of Eurasia Group Ian Bremmer back to our stage to share his insights on Asia’s rise and the evolving global role of the United States, based on his new book Superpower: Three Choices for America’s Role in the World. The Hon. Kevin Rudd, President of the Asia Society Policy Institute, will join him in conversation about what may be ahead for the United States and its partners and rivals in Asia and around the world.
