Chinese Landscape Painting with Arnold Chang
Private Patrons Event
NEW YORK, April 24, 2013 — Artist Arnold Chang visited Asia Society New York for a sensational private demonstration of traditional Chinese landscape painting. Asia Society Patrons gathered to feel the different papers, watch the ink-grinding process, and learn about the Chinese painting brush. Chang also demonstrated some of the techniques and philosophies required to produce this kind of painting. The event coincided with the Asia Society Museum exhibition The Artful Recluse: Paintings, Poetry, and Politics in Seventeenth-Century China, on view through June 2, 2013.
