Ginger Tea

A healthy tea with a spicy, invigorating flavor.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups water
8-10 thin slices fresh ginger
2 teaspoons tea
sugar to taste

Directions

Bring the water to the boil with the ginger. Meanwhile, heat teapot and
put the tea into it. After water has boiled for a couple of minutes,
pour it in with the tea, cover and leave it to stand for 5 minutes.
Strain into two cups and sweeten if desired. In India, milk and sugar
are added as a matter of course.
