[Policy] Reunification: The Irish and German Models

H.E. Eamonn McKee, Ambassador, Embassy of Ireland and H.E. Rolf Mafael, Ambassador, Embassy of Germany (from left)

In October 2012, Asia Society Korea Center launched a new series of talks focused on the future of North-South Korea relations. It is our intention to survey a wide range of expert views on the likely future shape of the Korean peninsula and possible models that might help inform that future.

On November 20, H.E. Eamonn McKee, Ambassador of Ireland shares some lessons of the Northern Ireland peace process and its experience of cross-border North-South cooperation and H.E. Rolf Mafael, Ambassador of Germany gives a talk that focuses on the German experience.
