In 2005-2010, Mr Yasuda went to Jingdezhen where it was famous for its high-quality pottery art. He gradually realized the beauty of ceramics art and devoted his time into pottery-making. In the meanwhile, he served as Director of the Pottery Workshop and helped build up the residence program in Jingdezhen, China.
He explained that the general public stereotyped the traditional Chinese art as dull, so he was determined to eradicate those prejudice and aimed to educate them how to appreciate the art piece.
Though Mr Yasuda felt uncertain about the future of ceramics art, still he hoped the industry would continue to flourish. Building of new ceramics centre was one of the greatest improvement being made. He sincerely hoped the government would continue to put more effort into its development.
