Held every December, Ink Asia is Hong Kong’s most anticipated ink art event of the year. It is the world’s first art fair dedicated to contemporary ink and will return to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from December 15 to 17, with a private preview and vernissage on December 14.

Since its establishment in 2015, Ink Asia has adhered to its mission of promoting mutual understanding of ink in Asia, as well as the cultural exchanges between the East and the West. The orientation of Ink Asia is to create a unique and international platform for the ink art which is currently undergoing the transition of modernity: we can see very “ink” and “non-ink” works at the same time, which are both believed to be influenced by traditional ink and merely embark on different artistic paths today.
