You are cordially invited to attend a President’s Circle lunch discussion with S&P Global’s Chief Economists for Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Topics to be discussed include:
- While the angst level around China has fallen, GDP and credit growth remain too high. Why is political and not market action needed to put the economy on a sustainable path?
- What can we expect of the Party Congress next year?
- China cannot unilaterally rebalance – how do we determine which countries in Asia will be the next winners and losers from this process?
- On Brexit, what is the most likely outcome from the negotiations with the EU?
- What macroeconomic impact will Brexit have on the UK economy and the City of London?
- The ECB monetary policy – how low can interest rates get? Is QE working?
