You are cordially invited to attend a President’s Circle dinner discussion with Ambassador Andres Rozental Gutman, Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Mexico on global governance, China’s role in Latin America, the importance of China’s presidency of the G20 in 2016, Mexico-China bilateral diplomacy and other issues.
Ambassador Andres Rozental Gutman is a career diplomat, having served Mexico as Deputy Foreign Minister (1988-1994), Ambassador to Sweden and Permanent Representative of Mexico to the United Nations in Geneva. Ambassador Rozental is Chairman of the board of steelmaker, ArcelorMittal Mexico; independent board member of Ocean Wilson Holdings and Wilson Sons in Brazil; and non-Executive member of the Board of HSBC Bank in Mexico. He has held advisory positions with Airbus Mexico, Toyota de México and Kansas City Southern de México. Ambassador Rozental is President of his own consulting firm, Rozental and Asociados, which specializes in advising multinational companies on their corporate strategies in Latin America. He is President Founder of the Mexican Council of Foreign Relations, and is active in a number of non-governmental organizations and projects relating to global governance, migration policy, climate change and the promotion of democracy. Ambassador Rozental is a Senior Policy Advisor to Chatham House in London and a member of the Trilateral Commission. He is the author of four books on Mexican foreign policy and numerous chapters in edited volumes on international affairs.
