Ms. Fore and Mr. Chan will update members and supporters on Asia Society’s achievements and major headway in different programs and global initiatives. This will be an evening immersed in insight sharing and stimulating dialogs – on our heritage campus that creates a shared future.

Henrietta H. Fore is the Chairman and CEO of Holsman International, an investment and management company. From 2007 to 2009, she was Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and Director of U.S. Foreign Assistance, holding the equivalent rank as Deputy Secretary of State. Between 2005 and 2007, Ms. Fore served as Undersecretary of State for Management. Her prior appointments include Director of the U.S. Mint in the Department of Treasury, as well as the Founding Chair of the US-Asia Environmental Partnership, a position announced in Singapore by President George H.W. Bush. Ms. Fore received the Alexander Hamilton award in 2005, and the Distinguished Service Award in 2009, the highest award the Secretary of State can bestow.
Ronnie C. Chan is the Chairman of Hang Lung Group Limited and its subsidiary Hang Lung Properties Limited. Both are publicly listed companies in Hong Kong, dealing in real estate investment, development and management. Mr. Chan also co-founded the privately held Morningside group which, in the past two decades, has owned and managed businesses in manufacturing, public transport operations, outdoor advertising, media, healthcare, online game operators, high-tech and biotech investments, developmental capital investments and other venture capital investments around the world. Mr. Chan is actively involved with many non-profits, philanthropic endeavors, and educational organizations. Mr. Chan is also Co-Chair of the Asia Society, and Chairman of the Asia Society Hong Kong Center.
