Dir. Laurice Guillen / 120 minutes
Language: Tagalog and English with English Subtitles
Siblings Danny, Art and Grace are living their lives separately with their respective families, but when their ailing mother Dolores “Lelong” Rosales begins slowly dying of Alzheimer’s disease, the parted siblings go back to their ancestral house to be with her. Grace is living in the US with her husband Francis, two children Madeline and Andrew and are struggling to maintain a happy US livelihood with their meager salary. Art, on the other hand, is living a high-maintenance lifestyle in Manila with his wife Nanette and children John, and Rommel, who he pressures to finish medical school. Meanwhile, Danny, unemployed, is left in their ancestral house to take care of their mother together with his wife Celine, three children Chona, Carina, and only son Boyet, who hates his father for not providing a better life for them. Danny plans to sell their 80 hectare property and divide the money with his siblings. However, Art does not agree with the plan. More than just arguing about the property settlement, their sibling rivalries from the past are also beginning to effect the relationships of the family members. Will they ever settle their differences and past issues? Or, will their mother die failing to witness her children reconcile once and for all?
