Call for Soloists
Asia Society Hong Kong Center has commissioned a new chamber opera to be premiered in Hong Kong in January 2018. We are seeking four high calibre, classically trained, opera soloists and/or contemporary music specialists — to debut main roles. Experienced singers, young professionals, and emerging artists, based in any country, are all encouraged to apply.
Description of project and roles
A new one act chamber opera with original music and libretto, with action occurring in the contemporary home of Hong Kong.

Time commitment
Rehearsals in Hong Kong approximately for 5 weeks from November 2017 to January 2018
Performances in Hong Kong for 1 week/ 4 shows in January 2018
A workshop is also expected to occur in advance of the rehearsal period.
