Brahms Clarinet Trio in A Minor: Discussed and Performed Live
HONG KONG, 1 June 2015 – As part of Inside Chamber Music Series, Asia Society Hong Kong Center live streamed a lecture on Brahms Clarinet Trio in A minor Op 114 for clarinet, cello and piano, followed by a live performance of the piece. The audience had the opportunity to interact with the musicians afterwards.
Inside Chamber Music Series is a music education series launched in 2014 by Asia Society Hong Kong Center, co-presented with Premiere Performances Hong Kong. Bruce Adolphe, active American composer and music scholar, delivered the streamed lecture from New York City. The distinguished composer provided the audience with detailed analyses of the chamber music masterpiece. Andrew Simon (clarinet), Richard Bamping (cello), and Warren Lee (Piano), performed to a full-house at the Center’s Miller Theater.
