Join us in May 2011 for the Third Annual Diversity Leadership Forum (DLF) at the Time Warner Center! The Asia Society DLF provides a vital platform for businesses to discuss current corporate diversity issues facing Asian professionals and global market factors impacting businesses today. This one-day conference will feature:

The Forum will also include the disclosure of an independent report: 2011 ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICANS CORPORATE SURVEY. Working in conjunction with independent research firm, Questar Data Systems, Inc., Asia Society conducted a national survey to understand corporate best practices in promoting and developing Asian Pacific Americans as leaders in the workforce and quantifying where they are positioned on the corporate leadership ladder in the US. A summary of the survey results featuring best practices and innovative ways on how to maximize leadership talent within a diversified workforce will be made available to Forum participants. A deep dive comprehensive report, which will include industry comparisons and other analytics from the survey, will be made available to any interested corporation for a reasonable fee at and after the Forum.
BEST IN CLASS AWARDS CEREMONY, HOSTED BY TIME WARNER
Asia Society’s 2011 Corporate Diversity Awards Ceremony, which recognizes major companies at the forefront of Global Diversity who are Best in Class in Promoting Asian Pacific American Leaders, will be held in the evening at the end of the Diversity Leadership Forum. The awards are based on the survey results as tabulated by the independent research firm as well as in-depth discussions with the finalists. Companies will be vying for top awards in the following categories: Overall Best Company for Asian Pacific American professionals to work for; Best Company for support of the Asian Pacific American community; Best Company in promoting Asian Pacific Americans into senior leadership positions; and Best Company for Asian Pacific Americans to develop workforce skills. PepsiCo, McDonald’s, Cardinal Health and KPMG were the 2010 Award Winners.
