What about the INJUSTICE other Asians (Chinese, Koreans, Philippinos, Indonesians and many more) received during WWII from Japanese? Millions of innocent Asian men and women were ruthlessly slaughtered by Japanese during that era!.... Unfortunately this side of the story has been often overlooked... Your mother's experience was unjust (our hearts go out to her), so were our Asian mothers and grandmothers in Asia! The pain and suffering they underwent could hardly be placed on the same scale as what your mother went through though....No offense. Please don't take it personally. Just stating a painful historical fact that the rest of the world also need to be made aware of...
