Admiral Raja Menon, the author of The Long View from Delhi, will talk about India's strategic role in Asia in the light of constantly changing geopolitics of the region.
Admiral Raja Menon, a retired admiral from the Indian Navy, will offer his unique perspective on how India has enhanced its strategic and defense capabilities and has devised its foreign policy to emerge as an major diplomatic constituent in the region.

Admiral Raja Menon was a career officer and a submarine specialist in the Indian Navy and retired in 1994 as the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations). His published works include, Maritime Strategy and Continental Wars, a standard text for the Staff College. He is a distinguished fellow at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies and the National Maritime Foundation. Admiral Raja Menon spent two years as Chairman, Task Force for Net Assesment in the National Security Council.
