SYDNEY, February 27, 2012 — Asia Society Australia Centre hosted a private CEO luncheon briefing in Sydney with guest of honour His Excellency Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Hosted by Hugh Morgan AC, Chairman Asia Society Australia Centre, and The Hon. Warwick Smith AM, former Minister of Energy and Chairman, New South Wales and ACT, ANZ Banking Group LTD, the luncheon brought together a select group of business leaders with an interest in Laos. Dr. Thongloun discussed business conditions and the investment environment in Laos.

The event was part of a two-day visit to Sydney and Canberra by Dr. Thongloun and his delegation as guests of the government.

The event for corporate members with an interest in Laos was held at ANZ, Sydney, under the Chatham House Rule.
