Revlon President and CEO Alan Ennis made waves at the 2012 WWD Beauty CEO Summit in Palm Springs, Florida last month when he publicly declared that China is "past its prime" as a manufacturing center. Speaking onstage at the beauty industry conference on May 16, Ennis cited issues of quality control and lead time as critical shortcomings in the China-based model.
